Obituary from the February 5, 1919 Glasgow Times
Miss Paradine Strange died at the home of her father, Mr Pete Strange in the Little Hope neighborhood on Janruary 29th, after a short illness of influenza. She was eight years old and a sweet loveable child.
On the following day her uncle, Mr. Moss Preston died of the same disease. He was about 35 years old and a son of the late Mr. William Preston, and himself a very estimable man. Burial was at Little Hope Friday afternoon.
