In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Craig; granddaughters, Brenda and Linda Craig; brothers, Glenn Hawkins and Matt Hawkins and a sister, Margaret Jenkins. Mrs. Craig was a member of Miller Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Dorman Craig and wife Janette of Hudson, Steve Craig and wife Eulena of Hudson, Dennis Craig and wife Shirley of Lenoir; daughter Linda Nelson and husband Wayne of Lenoir; grandchildren, Karen Woods and husband Tim, Kenneth Nelson and wife Lisa, Teresa Robertson and husband James, Wendy Fallick and husband Craig, Sherry Nelson, Brian Craig, and Richard Craig Jr.; brothers, Howard Hawkins of Virginia, Wayne Hawkins of Lenoir, and Ray Hawkins of Lenoir; sisters, Margie Riley of Lenoir, Bonnie Coffey of Aiken, S.C. and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Pendry's Chapel with Rev. Steve Walsh, Rev. Jobie Borders and Dr. Howard Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Clarks Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m to 2 p.m on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Pendry's Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Mrs. Craig's grandsons, Kenneth Nelson, Brain Craig, Richard Craig, James Robertson, Tim Woods and Craig Fallick. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren, Lauren Robertson, Brandon Fallick, Andrew Robertson, Caleb Woods, Braxton Nelson and Madison Fallick.
