George is the son of Leonard Carl and Hannah Jane (Pratt) Wilsey. He never married.

Obituary:
GEORGE R. WILSEY
George Wilsey was born July 15, 1852, at Milford, New York, the son of Leonard and Jane Wilsey.
In 1856 he came to Wisconsin, and when a young man came to Dunn county where he had resided ever since, most of the years being spent on his farm in the town of Tainter.
Mr. Wilsey passed away on Apr 5, 1943 at the home of his niece, Mrs. Ralph Walker, Menomonie at the age of 90 years, 8 mo's, 21 days.
He leaves one sister, Mrs. Clara Douglas,, Maidstone, Canada and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Greeley Funeral home, the Rev. W. L. Sanford officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the family lot at Cedar Falls.
