Visitation will be held from 5-8PM Monday at Cox Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Faith Memorial Park Cemetery near Delhi.
Mr. Curry was a native of Union County, AR and a long time resident of Delhi.
He was a retired oilfield roughneck and a memeber of the First Baptist Church of Delhi.
He is preceded in death by his wives; Eva Curry and Nancy Elizabeth "Betty" Curry; a son Emmitte L. Curry; his parents, Emmitte Lee and Allie Bernice Fatheree Curry; two sisters, Gladys Sutton and Bece James; two brothers, Ed Curry and R. L. Curry; two half brothers, Leon Curry and Kenneth Curry and a step brother, Pete Nelson.
He is survived by two sons James Curry and wife Merle of Delhi and John Charles Curry and wife Edda of West Monroe; a half sister Nellie June Bell of Gulfport, MS; a step brother Hancel Nelson of West Monroe; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Honorary pallbearer will be Tom Malone.
