Johnny Edward Burton age 77 of Lake City, TN passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at his residence. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Johnny enjoyed fishing and coon hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mossie Burton; brother, Benny Ray Burton; sisters, Marie Carden, Anna Ruth Halcom, and Elizabeth Sharp.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Wanda Fay Burton of Lake City, TN; son, Danny Wilbanks and wife Donna of Caryville, TN; daughters, Sandy Posey and husband Dale of Lake City, TN, Gale Hatmaker and husband Richard; sisters, Charline Lanston of Clinton, TN, Norma Sue Foust of Lake City, TN, Kay Webb of Oliver Springs, tN, Janie of Nashville, TN and Wanda Cox of LaFollette, TN. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends,

There will not be any services for Johnny, for it was Johnny's wishes to be cremated.
