MRS. EMIL OCHSNER
Barbara Ochsner was born at Worms, South Russia, May 8, 1872, and died at her home in Sutton, Nebr., July 29, 1931, aged 59 years, 2 months, 21 days. She came to Sutton with her parents in 1886. On Jan 7, 1904, she was married to Emil Ochsner, and besides husband she leaves a daughter, Helene, a son Milton, four sisters and three brothers.
The funeral service was held a 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the First Reformed church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. R. Birk, and Rev. C. F. Schmidt of the Evangelical church. Mr. Birk spoke from Ps. 39:5-8, and Mr. Schmidt from Ecc. 9:5. The song service was by a quartet from the Federated church. Interment was in the Sutton cemetery. Reuben Engelhardt of Billings, Mont., Elmer Ochsner of Ogallala, Reinhardt Engelhardt of Harvard, Raymond Ochsner, Alfred Griess, Theodore Ochsner (nephews) serving as bearers.
