Bio
I have retired from the Public school with over 29 years as transportation supervisor and in 2015 I started working at the Sutton Cemetery as a Supervisor. Each year I look forward to the time that l get to spend out there working to improve the Cemetery. I hope that I can continue to work there for many years to come, as I truly love being out there. In the past years the crew and I have reset headstones, and started mapping out the cemetery, planting flowers adding benches for those who come out to walk. I enjoy meeting people who come to visit love ones and friends listening to the stories that they share as well.
When my husband and I travel and we always stop and look at the older cemeteries in the areas that we are in just to see the different headstones and sayings that the families put on them for the loved ones, some are heartfelt and some well lets just say, get to have the last word so to speak, and then there are the funny ones as well. But history comes alive when one stops and takes the time to read about the ones who have passed before us.
So if you're ever in my neck of the woods or should I say tree line stop in, Bailey the black lab and current rodent officer would love to meet you as well. Not to mention we have a lot of neat history in our little Cemetery and the ones in the area around us as well. Hope to See Ya Soon.
Thanks for all the help in finding love ones for the memorials that I manage, sometimes when you least expect to find information on a memorial it just seems to show up. Thanks again for all the updates you all have sent to help keep the information current. Bobbie & Bailey
