Thomas F. Lawrence was married on June 26, 1854, to Mary Elizabeth Grow, of Daviess County, Ind. They had ten children - George W., born July 19, 1857; William G. September 5, 1859; Sarah Anna, February 4, 1852; Ameila Edith, May 19, 1865; Thomas Elmer, June 14, 1867; Cary, December 30, 1870; Alice, April 27, 1873; Amanda C., November 1, 1875; Minnie May, June 29, 1878; Samuel Fisher, December 30, 1879.
   Mr. Lawrence enlisted in Company E. Sixth Indiana Volunteer Infantry, October 14, 1861, and was discharged September 22, 1864, by reason of the expiration of his term of service.

Entertains for Soldier.
   Complimentary to T. F. Lawrence who has been a resident of Oswego for 42 years and who leaves Tuesday for Indiana where he will make his home with a sister. Mrs. Belle Young invited all the members of the G. A. R. and W. R. C. of which Mr. Lawrence is a member, to spend Sunday at her home where a pleasant afternoon was spent. A program consisting of readings and patriotic songs was given and dainty refreshments were served to all present.
