The birth parents of Franklin Ray Barber were Thomas Barber and Julie Butler. Why my granddad Albert Bland Marlow took him to raise and be his son I don't know. Unless it was to prevent scandal to his Brothers Melvin and George wives family as Thomas Barber was their brother. I've not found
any documents of proven adoption although Ray took the Marlow name. He was actually a Barber.gerrilynn See birth certificate.
