Mrs. Elsie McLees, 78, of 1345 Sixth Ave. died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Mercy Hospital after a long illness.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m Friday at Glendale Cemetery.

Mrs. McLees, a retired nurses aid, was born in Exline and came to Des Moines from Centerville 53 years ago. she was a member of the Salvation Army Senior Citizen Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Mulvaney of Des Moines; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
