Obe Dray, of Des Moines, former resident of Exline, died Wednesday morning at Broadlawns hospital in Des Moines at the age of 70 years. He was born in Mendota, Mo., Aug. 24, 1882, the son of Lewis and Alice Dray.
There are three surviving children who are: Mrs. Inez Gibson, of Rockford, Ill.; James Dray, of Rockford, Illinois; and Johnny Dray of Des Moines.
There are also two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Alexander of Chicago; Mrs. Elsie McClees of Des Moines; and a brother Charles Dray of Barrington, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Johnson Funeral Home with Elder E. E. Withrow officiating and burial will be in the Exline cemetery.
* Inez died Feb. 14, 1963 in Rockford, Winnebago, Illinois of a heart attack. The funeral was in Rockford. I am not sure where she, or her husband Chalmers were buried.
