David Williams, 51, passed away March 11, 1971, after a lengthy illness. He had been hospitalized in Vallejo, Calif. for quite some time. He was born on April 12, 1919 in Missouri.
He was the brother of the late Matt Williams, a local businessman and grocery store owner in Mojave. He is survived by four sisters, Verba Clarke, Bellflower, Calif.; Della Bohannon, Idaho; Stella Langman, Sunburst, Montana; Aslee Vestal, Missouri; and one brother, Chesa Williams, Kansas.
The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Jerry L.Higgon of the Nazarene Church in Tehachapi at 3:00
p.m. on March 15, 1971 in the Chapel of Stickel’s Mortuary, Graveside services and interment were in the Mojave cemetery.
