Obituary:
Albert Dicks, 90, of Albia died Oct. 14 (1982) at the Monroe County Health Care Center. He was born Jan. 2, 1892, in Ness City, Kan., the son of Sylvester and Ellen Molesworth Dicks. He had worked for the railroad and as a trucker. In 1910, he married Edna Turner in Albia. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Loretta; and one son, Carl. Surviving are one son, Glen Dicks of Albia; one daughter, Dorothy Elifrits of Albia; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Sebeniecher officiating. Burial will be in Oak View Cemetery. Humeston-Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
