She was the daughter of Milton Hawkins and the late Mrs. Hawkins, and was 55 years of age. Mrs. Basham was born and reared in Breckinridge County. More that 30 years ago she was married to Thomas Basham, who with the following children survive; Hobart Basham of Alexander, Illinois, Lonnie Basham, Mrs. Hubert Greenwood, Mrs Silas Hawkins, and Miss Maydee Basham.
