Joseph Dumm, One of the Oldest Residents, Died on Wednesday
After a brief illness of pneumonia, Joseph Dumm, one of the oldest residents of Barr Township, died at his late home on Wednesday afternoon of last week, aged sixty-eight years. The funeral took place Saturday morning from St. Nicholas Catholic Church at Carrolltown and interment was made in the cemetery adjoining. He is survived by his wife, whose maiden name was Miss Isbella Adams, and by the following children: Mrs. Adam Frees of Carrolltown; Albert, Mrs. W. H. Hoppel, Mrs. William Krumenacker and Mrs. Alexander Kirsh of Barr Township; Frank, Louis, Bernetta, Rose and Viola, at home. One brother, Daniel, of Carroll Township, also survives.
