OBITUARY from Altoona Mirror January 17, 1934 page 1 - MRS. CLARA CECELIA (DUMM) HOPPEL Died at her home in Nicktown, Cambria county, at 8.25 o'clock Monday evening, following an illness of one week. She was aged 60. She was born in Barr township, a daughter of Joseph and Isabel Dumm, both deceased. William Hoppel and Miss Clara Cecelia Dumm were married at St. Nicholas' Catholic church, Nicktown. The husband died in 1905. Surviving Mrs. Hoppel are these children: Irvin, Mrs. R. A. Lieb and Mrs. Adrian Peters of Nicktown and Martin Hoppel of Ebensburg, and these brothers and sisters: Bert, Frank and Louis Dumm, Mrs. Urban Weiland, Mrs. William Krumenacker, Mrs. Alex Kirsch and Mrs. Nick Kline, all of Nicktown. Funeral services will be conducted from St. Nicholas Catholic church at 9 o'clock Thursday morning, followed by interment in church cemetery. Rev. Marinus Ferg, O. S. B., pastor, will be in charge. The deceased was a member of the Ladies' Aid society, St. Joseph's union and the Propagation of the Faith society of the church.
