Auguste Giese Lincoln, 91, Wilton, Iowa, died Friday, Sept. 23, 1994, at
Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport.
Services were held today at Grace United Church of Christ, Wilton, where she
was a member. Burial is in Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton.

The former Auguste Dohrmund was born July 27, 1903, in Schleswig, Holstein,
Germany, the daughter of Frederick and Kathrina Krueger Dohrmund. She married
Arthur Giese July 23, 1923, in Wilton. He died in 1936. She married Philson
Lincoln Jan. 12, 1938, in Iowa City. He died in 1978.
She was a member of Wilton American Legion Auxiliary, Women's Fellowship,
Wilton Senior Meal Site and Wilton Golden Ages.
She enjoyed crocheting, bingo and playing cards.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Hilda and Paul Stoelk, Davenport,
Viola Hull and Nancy Hammerich, both of Wilton, and Linda and Verlin
Zurmiller, Stover, Mo.; sons, Arthur Giese and Kenny Lin coln, both of Wilton,
and LeRoy and Harris Giese, both of Davenport; 31 grandchildren; and several
great and great-great-grandchildren. Her great-grandson, Royce Brown, died
April 13.
