Paul Michael Hines, 67, 217 N. Eucalyptus Court, died Wednesday in Ball Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Yamacraw, Ky., and moved to Muncie more than 60 years ago. He graduated from Central High School.

Mr. Hines had retired as a locomotive engineer for Norfolk & Western Railway. He was a member of Halteman Village Baptist Church and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Hines; two sons, Jeff and Michael Hines, both of Muncie; two daughters, Beth Dunn (husband-Phillip), Muncie, and Debbie Hines, Indianapolis; three sisters, Willa Mae VanNatta, Charlene Rudisill and Joyce Hines, all of Muncie; seven grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Cora Hammond, and two brothers, Jack Hines and Donald Hines.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Calling will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Memorials may be made to Halteman Village Baptist Church.
