The son of John Wise Council Walker and Nancy Elizabeth Bailey; brother of Leroy, Ceberry, Della, Opie, Phillip, and Nota, and husband of Lilly Rose.
Harrison and Lilly lived at Egeria, and later on Tommy Creek near Rhodell.
He worked as a dealer in livestock and was a farmer.
The histories of Walker and Bailey families note that this couple had the heartbreaking experience of eight stillborn children, one girl and seven boys.
Of these babies, one was buried at Crumpler, two at Pinoak, and five at Keaton Mills at Egeria.
They were the parents of five others who survived.
