BURNS, Mrs. Bridget Kenny

MRS. BRIDGET BURNS, MIDLAND, DIES HERE
Mrs. Bridget Burns, 55 years old, widow of Patrick J. Burns of Midland, died last night at Allegany Hospital where she had been a patient for several weeks. Mrs. Burns was born in Pekin, Md and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Simon Kenny of Midland. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Midland, where a Requiem High Mass will be celebrated by her brother, the Rev. Father P. J. Kenny of Lansdowne, Md. A number of priests will be in the sanctuary. Burial will be in Belvedere Cemetery, Midland. Mrs. Burns is survived by ten children: Simon Burns, assistant chief clerk of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad at Pittsburgh; Harry, chief car dispatcher at Youngstown, O; Frank and Thomas of Midland; Luke, supervisor of mine ratings of the B & O of Baltimore; Mrs. Patrick Manley of Midland; Mrs. Harry Poland of Mt Savage; Manning J of Woodlawn, Pa and Misses Mary and Sarah at home. Four sisters and three brothers, including Father Kenny, also survive. They are: Mrs. Michael Riley of Midland; Mrs. James Carroll; Mrs. Patrick J. Creegan and Thomas P. Kenny all of Cumberland and Miss Sarah Kenny, Lansdowne, Md.
