Died at her home in this city on Wednesday, Dec. 29th, 1897 Mrs. Jennie McWilliams, beloved wife of John McWilliams, Jr., aged 30 years and 8 months. The subject of this sketch, whose maiden name was Jennie E. McCarville, was a daughter of the late Thos. McCarville, of Willow Springs and was born in that town April 21st, 1867.
Deceased was married to John McWilliams Jr., of Seymour, Jan 12th, 1891, and shortly afterward with her husband removed to this city.
Mrs. McWilliams was the mother of four children, who, together with the husband, aged mother, sisters and brothers have the sympathy of all our people.
The funeral occurred on the 31st ultimo from the Catholic church and the remains were laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery.
