Funeral services for Pvt. Aubrey H. Kelly, of Hebert, who was killed in action in Korea a few months ago, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Bethany Baptist church in ward 8 with the pastor, Rev. J. D. Kitchingham in charge, assisted by Rev. Jimmy Sheppard of Pineville.

Interment was made in the Duchesne cemetery in ward 8 under the direction of the Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kelly of Hebert; five brothers, Wilkie Kelly, D. H. Kelly, John Kelly and Wiley Kelly, all of Hebert, and Herman Kelly of Massachusetts; three sisters, Shirley Kelly of Hebert, Miss Johnnie Faye Kelly of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Wilma Duffie of Monroe.

He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Duchesne, and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary B. Kelly of Hebert.

Pallbearers were Berlon MClanahan, Jimmy Beale, Joe Ed Maxwell, Ben Meredith, Alton Riser and Junior Blackwell.
