Jesse Noah Locker, the son of Jacob Daniel Locker and Leah Etta Freemyer, married Cora Madela May, the daughter of Frederick C. May and Mary M. Fetter, on October 10th, 1914 in Jay County, Indiana. They had six known children together, three daughters and three sons.

The 1920 US-Census for Madison Township, Jay County, Indiana lists: Jesse Locker age 26, Married-HOH, wife, Cora M. age 24, and four children;Helen I. age 4, Evert L. age 3, Pauline R. age 2, and Arthur D. age 0. All listed born in Indiana.

On February 18th, 1925 Jesse and Cora's farmhouse caught fire at four o'clock in the morning. Thankfully, nobody was injured, but their farmhouse was completely destroyed. They lived with their in-laws until a new house was built.

The 1930 US-Census for Madison Township, Jay County, Indiana lists: Jesse Locker age 36, Married-HOH wife, Cora M. age 34, and six children; Helen age 14, Evert age 13, Pauline age 12, Dale (Arthur D.) age 10, Gertrude age 9, and Howard age 5. Also listed a laborer, Layton Soumers age 18. All listed born in Indiana.

The 1940 US-Census for Madison Township, Jay County, Indiana list: Jesse Locker age 46, Married-HOH, with an 8th grade education, occupation Farmer. Wife, Cora M. age 44, with an 8th grade education. Four children; Pauline age 22, Dale (Arthur D.) age 20, Gertrude age 19, and Howard age 15. All listed born in Indiana.

1942 US World War II Draft Registration Card for Jesse Noah Locker, Serial Number U1133, list the following information: Place of Residence - R.R.6 Portland, Jay County, Indiana. Mailing Address - same. Age 48, Date of Birth - November 3, 1893. Place of Birth - Portland, Jay County, Indiana. Wife - Cora Locker, same address. Employment - Farmer.
