TOOELE – William Thomas Johnson, 82, died Sunday morning at his residence here, of causes incident to age. Born Nov. 5, 1872, at Scipio, Millard County, son of Benjamin H. and Sarah Tidwell Johnson. His father was first resident of Scipio. Was farmer and stockraised and served as Scipio marshall many years. Married Elizabeth Hansen, Oct. 11, 1903, in Scipio. Member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Resided in Tooele the past seven years. Survivors; widow, daughter, Mrs. Helen Smith; sons, Phil and Melvin R., all of Tooele; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ida Taylor, Provo. Funeral Tuesday, 1 p.m., Tooele Third Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Friends call at Tate Mortuary Monday 7-9 p.m., Tuesday prior to funeral. Burial. Tooele City Cemetery.
