Completed her earthly mission at age 91 at the Ashton Living Center on Saturday. Daughter of Norman Kent and Leona Isabell Hill Kent. Attended school in Ashton. Graduated from Ashton High School. Married Floyd I. Blanchard January 11, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lived and farmed near Ashton. Cooked many meals for their hired help. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many capacities. Enjoy doing things for other people. Sent many birthday and Christmas cards to individuals in the community, friends and family. Enjoyed baking cinnamon rolls, banana bread, making popcorn balls and sharing them friends and family. A hard worker all her life.
Survived by her children Jay (Uti) Blanchard, Terry (Marianne) Blanchard and Jeanette (Rod) Depew; sister Norma Hedrick, brother Eldon Kent; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Floyd; a daughter Helen Davis; a granddaughter Rula Michelle Davis and son-in-law Drex Davis.
Services held on Wednesday, July 20, 20005 at the Ashton LDS 4th Ward Chapel. Burial under the direction Baxter Funeral Home in Ashton.
