Elaine H. Cuthbert 1915 ~ 2003 MIDVALE - Elaine H. Cuthbert, 88, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2003 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born May 6, 1915 in Kaysville the daughter of Rosel Hyde Jr. and Leila Fern Wray Hyde. Elaine graduated from Weber State University in June 1936. She married George Herbert Cuthbert on December 15, 1942 in Kaysville, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on September 12, 2003. Elaine worked as a legal secretary for Spencer, West, and Ketner Law Firm and retired as an accountant from the State Tax Commission with 17 years of service. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many positions; she also served as a temple worker in the Jordan River Temple. She was a member of the Utah Public Employees Association and Daughter of the Utah Pioneers. Elaine enjoyed sewing, oil painting and knitting. Surviving are one daughter, Kathie C. (Val) Adams, Mt. Green; two grandchildren, Matthew (Emily) Adams and G. Bradley Adams. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 22, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends and family may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff at Mt.
