Vincent was born September 25, 1899 in the Kimes rural home near Chester, Crawford County, Arkansas. He married Frances Zenk April 2, 1929 in San Luis Obispo, San Luis Obispo County, California. She was born December 22,1903 in Schaller, Sac County, Iowa to Gustav John Zenk and Lydia Papendick. Vincent and Frances had no children which was a disappointment to them both. Vincent worked for Standard Oil Company as an accountant. They later moved to Napa, California where he also worked as an accountant. Frances' mother spent her last years living with them. A short time before she died they moved her into a nursing home in Modesto, Stanislaus County, California. They moved there too so they could help take care of her. After she died they moved to a trailer home in Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California. Frances died the 21st of May, 1990 in Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California and Vincent moved into the home of a care-taker. He sold what he had and gave the money to the care-taker to pay for her services and his care. He died the 15th of July, 1992 in Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California. Frances and Vincent are buried in Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California.
