ORLANDO, Fla. - John Evans, 60, formerly of Brisbin, died unexpectedly Monday at 6:15 p.m. at Orlando, Fla.
Mr. Evans has resided in Florida for the past two years. He left the Brisbin area 32 years ago and for 18 years prior to moving to Florida he was a selector for the A & P Bakery in Newark, N. J.
He was born in Brisbin Aug. 1, 1900, a son of Mayberry and Ann Wells Evans. Surviving are his wife, Ann; two sons: John, Orlando, and William, East Brunswick, N.J.; four grandchildren, two brothers: Gomer, York, and Lewis, Brisbin; and a sister: Mrs. Marie oswald, Brisbin.
Funeral services will be held at the Brisbin Baptist Church tomorrow at 2 p.m., Rev. C. H. Kulp officiating. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Brisbin.
Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home at Houtzdale this afternoon and evening and at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services.
