"AGER--At the residence, 1947 Hawthorne ave., Feb. 26, 1919, Eliza A. Ager, aged 71 years, 4 months, beloved wife of Wilson Ager. Friends invited to attend the funeral services, which will be held at the above residence at 10:30 A. M. today (Friday), Feb, 28, 1919. Interment Mt. Scott cemetery."

Harold, the son of Wilson and Eliza Ager, had a middle name of Weiler. This middle name was on Harold's WWI and WWII Draft Registration cards. Eliza Ann's maiden name was Weiler. In 1850, in Congress Township, Wayne County, Ohio, one year old Eliza A. Weiler is listed with her father. He is Adam Weiler, age 30, and listed here as born in Pennsylvania, but all other census records shows him born in Ohio. There isn't a mother listed for Eliza. In 1860, Harriet Weiler, age 28, is listed in the household. Although her relationship to Adam is not listed, she is probably his wife, and step-mother to Eliza.

Find A Grave member Peggy babbs (#46603677), found information in a marriage record book that showed Adam Weiler married a Mary Ann Troutman on 14 October 1847. Since Eliza Ann was born about a year later, and there isn't any female in Adam's household, other than Eliza, in 1850 [1850 US Federal Census, Congress, Wayne, Ohio], I will assume Mary Ann Troutman was probably Adam Weiler's first wife, and mother to Eliza Ann.

Peggy's book also showed a marriage between Wilson W. Agar and Eliza Weiler on 15 November 1866.

The newspaper information regarding the deaths of Eliza and her husband, Wilson, didn't list any of their children. But the funeral notice for their son, Charles Herbert Ager, who died in Portland, Oregon, 13 November 1962, listed his siblings as Jessie Broms, Maude Shaver, Walter and Raymond Ager.

In the 1900 census for Nobles County, Minnesota, showed Eliza had given birth to 11 children, but only 10 children were still living.

Children found listed in Federal census, from 1870, Minnesota Territorial & State census 1885 & 1895, and other records were:
Agusta Harriet Gertrude "Gertie" (Ager) Daugherty (Nov. 1867 Ohio-Jul. 1956 Ore.); Adam William Ager (Feb. 1870 Ohio-May 1906 Minn.); Thomas Clyde Ager (Dec. 1870 Ohio-June 1957 Minn.); Charles Herbert Ager (Mar. 1873 Ill.-Nov. 1962 Ore.); Mildred Mary (Ager) Robinson (Nov. 1876 Minn-Sept. 1938 Ore.); Raymond William Ager (Dec. 1878 Minn.-June 1963 Ore.); Walter George Ager (Feb. 1881 Minn.-May 1979 Wash.); Maude Elizabeth (Ager) Shaver (Nov. 1882 Minn. - Nov. 1975 Iowa); Jessie M. (Ager) Broms (Nov. 1887 Minn.-Apr. 1987 Ore.); Glenn Ager [estimate born on or about 5 Feb. 1891, died 11 Jan. 1893 Minn., after living 1 year, 11 months, 6 days, Minn.]; Harold Weiler Ager (Nov. 1892 Minn.-Jul. 1953 Ore.).

[NOTE: Maude Elizabeth Shaver, buried in Hillside Cemetery, State Center, Marshall County, Iowa, Memorial# 88390219, wife of Guy E. Shaver. The Social Security information of Guy & Maude Shaver's adopted son, Berwin Paul Shaver, showed his mother's maiden name was AGER.]
