Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Fuchtman, 69, who passed away Tuesday, Jan. 13, were conducted Friday morning at St. Ludger Catholic Church. The Rev. Malvern Wiese offered the mass. In the sanctuary were the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph B. Falke of Creighton, the Rt. Rev. Robert Burns, the Rev. William Lordeman and the Rev. Hugh Schwartz. Burial was in St. Ludger Cemetery.

Clara Ida Schula, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schula, was born Dec. 23, 1889 at Wisner. She was married to Joseph Fuchtman Feb. 7, 1912. They spent the first five years of their married life farming near Wisner. They, then, moved to a farm near Creighton, which was her home until her death.

Mrs. Fuchtman is survived by her husband, six sons, Leonard, Walter, Willard, Raymond and Joseph Jr., all of Creighton and Edwin of Hartington; five daughters, Sister M. Rosamund, OSF of Osmond, Sister M. Anastasia, OSF of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. John Burns and Mrs. Marvin Hasenpflug of Creighton and Mrs. Richard Focht of Omaha; 24 grandchildren; three brothers, Herbert of Wisner, John of Los Angeles, Calif., and Eugene of Albuquerque, N.M.; six sisters, Sister M. Charlene, OSF and Mrs. Henry Dartman of Norfolk, Sister M. Veronica, OSF of Fulda, Minn., Mrs. Leo Stortz of Creighton and Mrs. Charles Wagner of Pueblo, Colo.

An infant son preceded her in death in 1915. One brother, Bernard, also preceded her in death.
