"Isabelle 'Chabela"'Pinon-Miller-Walters was born on November 11, 1915 in Douglas, AZ. She passed away on September 22, 2008 at Pepi's House in Tucson, AZ, at the age of 92. Preceding her in death in 1989 was her husband Edward Walters of 48 years. She is the last survivor of 14 siblings. Surviving are sons William (Robin lee) Miller, John (Barbara) Miller, daughters Mary Palmer, Rose Merkins, Margaret Webb, and grandsons David Friend and Martin Miller. She leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Chabela was a loving wife, and mother who loved cooking, gardening and fishing with her husband Edward. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on October 18, 2008-10:00 a.m. in the main chapel of Adair Douglas Funeral Chapel, 1860-8th St., Douglas, AZ. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery."
