Henry Cocks organized and made possible the immigration of the Powell, Cox and Williams families to Canada in 1906 from Monmouthshire, Wales. He was one of the three founding members of the United Church of Iron Springs, along with Mr. Peter Dickout and Mr. Joseph Hunt.
His nephew is Herbert George "Bertie" Hobbs
