PINEY CREEK -- This community was saddened Friday when Mrs. James McGuire passed away at her home near Ardmore.

Besides her husband, she is survived by six sons and three daughters; 40 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She had been ill for some time and her death, while not unexpected, was a great shock to her loved ones.

She was buried at Gatlin cemetery Saturday at 4:00 o'clock (sic) with Mr. Rainey in charge of burial.
