Died at her home in Willow Springs, on Monday, March 20, 1916, Mrs. Thomas Armstrong, in the thirty seventh year of her age. Agnes Logue was the daughter of Mr. James Logue of Darlington, and was born on her father's farm in Willow Springs in the year 1879. Here her young life was spent until about thirteen years ago when she was united in marriage to Thomas Armstrong of Willow Springs. As a result of this union, nine children were born to bless the home: seven of whom, mostly of tender age, are left to mourn the loss of a mother's loving care. She was truly a devoted wife and loving mother; never shirking duty, her first and last thought being centered upon the comforts of her children and home.
The funeral was held from the Catholic church on Wednesday of last week, attended by a large gathering of friends and relatives, among whom were Royal Neighbors, who attended in a body.
