FROSTBURG - John W. "Honas" Brodbeck, 82, of 101 Maple Street, died last night in Sacred Heart Hospital. Born at Gilmore, he was the son of the late John Brodbeck and Anna (Buckalew) Brodbeck. He had been employed as a miner. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ida (Ware) Brodbeck; two sons, Herbert Brodbeck and Morgan Brodbeck, both of here; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Jane Cotter, Cleveland; Mrs. Naomi Ingrodi, Midland; Mrs. Anna Swinson, Fort Worth, Texas; a grandchild he reared, Mrs. Carolyn Nolan, Troy, Illinois, 13 other grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Hafer-Sowers Funeral Home. The family requests memorials take the form of contributions to St. John's Episcopal Church here.
