Rebekahs to Honor Mrs. Prentice Moore
The death of Mrs. Prentice Moore of 289 Parker avenue occurred last evening at 7:35 p.m. at Doctor's hospital. Mrs. Moore's health had been poor for the past two years but her death was unexpected.

The former Miss Mae Smith, she was born in Marshall, Mich., on Feb. 27, 1879. She came to the community of Sodus with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Smith, while still a child.

On Sept. 4, 1907, she was married to Mr. Moore in St. Joseph and they lived in Pipestone township for 18 years. They next moved to Benton Harbor to their present address.

Mrs. Moore was a member of the Chapel Hill church of Sodus where she was a Sunday school teacher and active member of the Ladies Aid She also was a member of the Marquette Rebekah lodge No. 284 of Benton Harbor, and the Blossomtime circle.

Her family includes her husband, Prentice, a well-known contractor of Benton Harbor; and three children: Earl Farmer of Sodus; Gordon Moore of Vicksburg, Mich., and Mrs. Albert Wenzlaff of St. Joseph. One brother is Byron Smith of South Bend and a sister is Mrs. Maggie Wright of Walla Walla, Wash. She had 10 grandchildren.
