LaClair, Augustus - Augustus LaClair, 85, of Ellenburg Center died May 13th at the home of his son, William LaClair in Brusbton. He was born July 5, 1888 in Cherubusco the son of Israel and Victoria (Woods) LaClair. He was married to the former Leah Gauthier of Ellenburg and they made their home in Ellenburg Center. She predeceased him about three years ago. Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. John (Blanche) Miller of Mooers Forks, Mrs. Sylvester (Leona) Silver of Merrill, Mrs. David (Roselma) Pickering of Syracuse, Mrs. Paul (Mildred) Peryer of Ellenburg Center, Mrs. Wilfred (Delia) Bushnoe of Syracuse, Mrs. Erwin (Nethlee) Yelle of Ellenburg Center, Mrs. Maynard (Jeannette) Pickering of Syracuse and one son, William LaClair of Brushton. Also 75 grandchildren and 100 great grandchildren. One son, Gustin died a few years ago. Funeral services were held May I5, 1974 at St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg.
