Leona Laclair Silver, 106, died August 3, 2016.
Born in Ellenburg, New York June 25, 1910, she was the daughter of Augustus and Leah Gokey Laclair.
She married Sylvester "Buster" Silver at St. Edmunds Church in Ellenburg January 25, 1932. He predeceased her.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Betty Silver of West Chazy; one daughter and son-in-law with whom she made her home, Sylvia and Robert Helm of Warrenton, Virginia; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband and a daughter Helen Lancto.
Friends and family may call at the Spaulding Funeral Home Sunday, August 7 from 2 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in St. John Bosco Cemetery.
