Mihaela Mary (Riffel) Maren

Mihaela Maren, age 79, passed away on Friday, March 19, 1976 at St. Joseph Hospital. A resident at 820 N. Center Street, she is survived by three daughters, Marie (Mrs. Jack Walsh) of Joliet, Dorothy (Mrs. Wayne Stone) of Morton, and Leona (Mrs. William Molaschi) of Lockport, five sons, Joseph, Robert, William, and Theodore Maren, all of Joliet, and Frank Maren of St. Charles, 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, one sister in Europe, several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Born in Yugoslavia, she lived in Joliet the past 63 years. Preceded in death by her husband Joseph (May 1967), three brothers, John, Joseph, and Frank Riffel, also one sister. She was a member of the Alter and Rosary Society, Slovanian's Women's Union, St. Genevieve Society #108 ASCU.

Remains resting at the Tezak Funeral Home, 459 N. Ottawa at Chicago where services will be held Monday, March 22, at 9 a.m. to St. Joseph's Church at 9:30 a.m.. Internment at St. Joseph's Church Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m..
