Theodore A. "Ted" Maren

Theodore A. Maren passed away suddenly at Provina St. Joseph Medical Center, Friday, March 10, 2000, age 78, a lifelong resident of Joliet.

Ted is survived by his loving and devoted wife of fifty years, Joyce (nee Hahn) Maren; and caring daughter, Patricia Miller-Crichton; proud grandchildren, Caryn Miller and Ted Crichton, all of Broomfield, Colorado; four brothers, Joseph S.(Ann) of Joliet/Scottsdale, Arizona, Robert J., William R. of Joliet and Frank A. (Mickey) of Rotonda West, Florida, Maren; three sisters, Marie B. Walsh (Jack deceased) of Joliet, Dorothy F. Stone (Wayne deceased) of Morton, Illinois, Leona L. (Bill) Molaschi of Destin, Florida; one sister-in-law, Dorothy (Andy deceased) Anderson of North Canton, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Herbert M. Hahn of Coal City. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary (Michala/nee Riffel) Maren; and son-in-law, Michael Miller.

Ted retired after forty years with the Cement Masons Local 161. An avid member of the Joliet Racing Pigeon Club, Northwest Club, Fox Valley Combine.

Tezak Funeral Home, 459 N. Ottawa Street, Joliet (722-0524) from where funeral services will be held Monday, March 13, 2000 at 10:30 to St. Joseph Catholic Church of Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation is on Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m..
