Arlus Dean Baker, 71, passed away Monday afternoon at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
Mr. Baker was born on May 1, 1938 in Madison County, the son of the late George and China Rose Baker.
Survivors include his wife: Betty B. Baker; a step-son: Michael Dale Black of Stanford; two brothers: Willard Baker (Margie) and Ellis Baker (Faye); three sisters: Beulah Moberly, Naomi Brandenburg, and Nancy Bradley (Billy); and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Lester and Nelson Baker and a sister: Nora Johnson.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 4, 2010, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Earl VanWinkle officiating. Burial will follow in the Baker Cemetery at Cedar Cliff.
Pallbearers will be: Mary Baker, Benny Baker, Warren Combs, Glen Poynter, Randy Turner and Eric Baker.
