Nelson H. Baker, age 83, of Franklin, OH; entered into eternal rest on Monday June 2, 2008 at Hospice of Hamilton. Nelson was born in Madison County, KY on November 26, 1924 to George and China (Rose) Baker. He retired as an engraver from Champion Paper Company in 1985 following 43 years of service. Nelson was preceded in death by 2 sons Gary Baker and Barry Baker; a sister Nora Johnson; a brother Lester Baker. He is survived by wife of 62 years Ruth (Garrett) Baker; 3 daughters Patricia Mullins and husband Larry of Lexington, KY, Cynthia Baldridge and husband Frank of Carlisle, and Melinda Bollenbacher and husband Bob of Liberty Township; grandchildren Joshua Simon, Stephanie Baldridge, Lauren Mullins, Lynn Bollenbacher; sisters Beulah Moberly, Naomi Brandenburg and husband Glendon, and Nancy Bradley and husband Billy, brothers Willard Baker and wife Margie, Ellis Baker and wife Faye, Arlis Baker and wife Betty; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Friday June 6, 2008 at 1pm at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH with Rev Carl Franco officiating. Burial will be in Mt Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Jun. 5, 2008 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
