Gertrude Drinkwine, 95
Gertrude Drinkwine died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg.
Gert was born in Govan, Saskatchewan, Canada, on July 23, 1917. After her graduation from Regina Grey Nun's Hospital, she worked as a registered nurse for 58 years. This included serving at the Indian Reservation in New Mexico and Arizona; Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee; and Adams Memorial Hospital in Friendship.
Gert is survived by her son, John (Barbara) Arity of Cedarburg; many loyal friends; and other family.
Much thanks to the entire staff at Lasata Care Center for their great care during her stay.
Services and burial will be held at a later date in Dellwood.
Gert never lost her great Irish sense of humor.
