Ronald James Harkless Sr. went to be with the Lord 11:15 a.m. November 6, 2012 at the age of 72, after an extended illness. He was born on November 12, 1939 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Paul and Edna (Brofft) Harkless.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years. Also surviving are his two children. Two step-daughters. Three grandchildren. Seven great-grandchildren all of Chillicothe. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Francis Harkless.

Ronald graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1957. He attended River of Life Church in Circleville, Ohio. He was a championship bowler, auctioneer, and was a member of the Frankfort, Ohio Masonic Lodge #309. He retired from a sucessful career with Capitol American Life. He also enjoyed running his concession stands and mingling with the community at the local festivals.

The family wishes to thank Becky Page and Adena Hospice.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Teresa Seymour officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call at Ware's from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
