Mrs. Emma Estes, 89, a former Beaver resident, died Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Bont of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Mrs. Estes moved from Beaver to Fort Lauderdale about 10 years ago.
Born, May 22, 1873, she was a daughter of Henry and Catherine Knapper Shy.
Surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Eva Bont of Mount Gilead; a son, Everett of Fort Lauderdale; a sister, Mrs. Mary Shuster of Piketon; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Estes was preceded in death by here parents, her husband, Joseph Estes who died in 1950 and a son.
Funeral services are to be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hammerstein Funeral Home, with Rev. Waid Radford officiating. Burial is to be in Mound Cemetery in Piketon.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday.
