Mrs. Zimmerman was a devoted wife and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Odell Zimmerman, her parents, John Elmore Popplewell and Nellie Mae Johnson Popplewell and siblings Mary Eva Popplewell Bolin, Mollie "Affie" Popplewell Wilson, Oval Popplewell, James Milton "Jim" Popplewell, Ina Popplewell Hughes, Estel John Popplewell, Farris Lee Popplewell, Etta Belle Popplewell Harris, John "J.R." Popplewell, Edward Hugh Popplewell, and Virthel "Grant" Popplewell.
Mrs. Zimmerman is survived by several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation for Vergie Zimmerman will be on Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 10AM with funeral services at 1PM at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herman Hamilton
officiating. Burial will be in the Square Oak Cemetery, Russell Springs.
