Ralph Henry Hammond, 201 Main Street, Sharpsburg, died yesterday at 8:30 a.m. in the King's Daughters Hospital, Martinsburg, aged 41 years.
Surviving are parents, Edgar and Leona Hammond, Sharpsburg; wife, Frances (Johnson) Hammond; son, Ralph Henry, Jr.; step-sons, Donald Snively, at home; Arthur Painter, Rockville, MD; sisters, Mrs. Harriett Howlett, Halfway; Mrs. Albert Keplinger, Sharpsburg; brothers, Gardner Hammond, Sharpsburg; and Edward Hammond, Martinsburg.
The funeral will be held at the Leaf Funeral Home, Sharpsburg, Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Robert Sutton, with interment in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. Wednesday until the service.
