Mrs. B. F. Barber died at her home in Villisca, Tuesday morning at 1:00 o'clock, her death resulting from tuberculosis from which she had suffered about eight years. She was confined to her bed during the last five months of her illness.Ica Mae Beard was born in Villisca on January 18, 1887 and lived her all her life. She was married to B. F. Barber in Villisca on April 14, 1904 and to this union six children were born, one of whom died in infancy. Those living are Viola, 13 years of age, Kenneth, 11, Mildred 9, Mary 8, and Robert 3.
Mrs. Barber was a member of the Methodist Church. The funeral was held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. E. S. Menoher in charge of the service, and burial was in charge in the Villisca Cemetery. Those who were here from out of town to attend the funeral were Leslie, Harry, and Claude Beard of Clarinda, and Tim Maher of Atlantic.

She married Benjamin Franklin Barber on March 15 1904 in Montgomery County, Iowa and to this union six children were born, two of whom are deceased. Those who survive are Kenneth, Mildred, Mary, and Robert.
