Maurice lived at 1005 East State St. in Olean, NY., but passed away at Olean General Hospital. At the time of his death he was survived by his wife (name not stated), six daughters, Edna Mae, Carolyn, June, Emily, Helen, Teresa, Marion and Laura, all at home; His parents, Mr and Mrs. Earl T. McElfresh of Portville, three sisters, Mrs. James E. Boyle of Springfield, MA., Mrs. Robert L. Baker of Olean and Miss Rose McElfresh of Port Allegany, PA. The funeral was held at the Halwig Funeral Parlors, in Olean on Oct. 22, 1936.
