Marion lived near Portville, NY and died at St. Francis Hospital (it was located on West State St.) in the City of Olean, NY after she was struck by a car. The funeral for Marion and also her grandmother, Mrs. Laura Davenport were held together at the Halwig Funeral Home in Olean on Sunday, July 13, 1941. It appears Marion's mother was Mrs. Katherine McElfresh and she had brothers and sisters, Helen, Emily, Emory and Caroline? She was also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl T. McElfresh of Portville.
